Doubletree rooms with kitchen question

I see two types of kitchens/rooms in the candid traveller photos, is there a difference in rooms? Does anyone that stayed there know?

I really would like to know before I change my reservation. Thanks.

Doubletree rooms with kitchen question

I stayed there in April and our kitchen was as the one in your ';nice'; description. Take a look at my review and if you want to ask any questions you are more than welcome to leave a message in my PM box or post them on this thread. I will be only too pleased to help in any way I can.

Doubletree rooms with kitchen question

Was your room facing the water or the other side. I am trying to figure out if there is any difference in the rooms. I also heard that they had some renovations done, so it might be an older picture.

We had the cheapest room - king, city view, no smoking. It was kind of on the corner on the 12th Floor. It overlooked Saks 5th Avenue on the Galleria Mall. The only problems we had there was with the door not deadlocking and one of the sliding doors onto the balcony not opening. We did not discover the problem with the sliding door until the afternoon of our last day so we didn%26#39;t bother addressing it. Before we booked we were under the impression that whole building had been renovated but I don%26#39;t know if that was so. Certainly everything in our room looked new and the public areas were new looking and well kept. It was a little over our budget but if the price was right I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Suewick- can you tell me if your kitchen looked like this:

Yes exactly like that.

Forgot to mention our room did not have a bath tub, just an extremely large walk in shower cubicle. It wasn%26#39;t an issue for us but it might be for you, especially if your kids are very young.

Thanks for your help.
