I%26#39;m trying to plan a family vacation to include Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Kennedy Space Center. There is a possibility where we might also do Islands of Adventure or Disney%26#39;s Magic Kingdom.
I would like to know which hotels and location would be the best to stay at. Our family is planning on going August 4th - 9th, 2007 %26amp; we are hoping to catch the Space Shuttle launch on August 7th. It%26#39;s launching at 7 pm.
We are Florida Residents %26amp; I%26#39;m sure we would get some great deals. I%26#39;m torn if we should be staying in Orlando the whole time or if we should get a hotel for a couple of days in Orlando %26amp; then a couple of days in Cocoa Beach. Best Western Ocean Beach Hotel looks likea great spot to vacation.

I think your best bet might be something in the Sea World area or south of there on the South part of International drive. You might also look at one of the Rosen hotels in that area, Shingle Creek being the newest, Rosen Center and Rosen Plaza being the other two.
The goal here would be to stay as close to the intersection of 528 and I-4 as you can since you will be driving and that gives you easiest access to everything you are interested in.
KSC is almost a straight shot from there down 528 to I-95 and will take a little over an hour.
