I%26#39;ve noticed that both are new and offer townhome type accomadations. Any advice on which one would be better. We%26#39;re looking for a nice resort featuring a nice waterpark if possible .
Any help would be greatly appreciated . Oh, were traveling with an 8 %26amp; 2 yr.old.
Vista Cay or Ginn Reunion...which is better ?
If your looking for a resort between the two featuring a waterpark you should go with Ginn Reunion. Haven%26#39;t stayed there but the photo of the resort that I have seen look lovey. I%26#39;ve stayed a Vista Cay and it was beyond my expectations.
Vista Cay or Ginn Reunion...which is better ?
Did the Vista Cay have at least a decent pool area ?
Hi
Haven%26#39;t been to Vista Cay, but I loved Reunion.
Personally though, their townhomes don%26#39;t look too impressive, but some of their apartments/condos look gorgeous. Are these suitable and wityhin budget?

(both also show the kids water play area and the pool/lazy river)
For all of VRBO%26#39;s listings at Reunion, look here - vrbo.com/vacation-rentals/鈥eunion-resort
We stayed in a bit estate house there and loved it.

The pool was nice.
Oh Lord, we%26#39;re so confused here. I REALLY like the waterpark at the Ginn Reunion, but not feeling all of the extra fee%26#39;s + 20% gratuity. Please don%26#39;t get me wrong we DO tip WELL for good service, but not if it%26#39;s undeserved.
The Vista Cay is much cheaper ,but all I could see was a small round kiddie pool...nothing too exciting for the little ones.
I%26#39;m now leaning towards Floridays, not a bad price and it has a nice kiddie waterpark area (from the pics that I could see).
What ';extra fees + 20% Gratuity'; at Ginn%26#39;s Reunion Resort?
I have no idea what you are talking anout (and have stayed there).

Someone mentioned the 20% charge recently on THIS site in a review. Stating they were charge an additonal 20% everytime they ordered something at the resort.
While Expedia states '; Effective Jaunuary 1, 2006 a resort service fee of 9% per unit per night will be charged at the time of booking to cover all gratuities for all departments...with the exception of food and beverages.';
Hi LadyJ
Did you see my post above about renting directly from an owner (I linked to some specific units)? If you rent form an owner, you do not pay the 9% resort fee. Renting direct from an owner is a lot cheaper than booking through expedia...
Plus the 20% gratuity is only if you order food and drinks there - which you don%26#39;t have to do. If you are spending a day by the kiddy pool, then take a cooler full of drinks and food with you from your condo. There are plenty of good restaurants within 10/15 minutes drive of Reunion.
