How do we get around?

Will be staying at Marriott in July with two 13 year olds. Can we walk from the resort to the area where restaurants, etc. are, or do we need to drive? Wondering at the distance.

Besides the restaurants in the Marriott (and the Hilton a couple of doors down), if you come out of the Marriott and turn right and walk for about 5 minutes you will be at Marco Walk Plaza. It has been renovated recently and has the following restaurants: Konrads (Steak/Fish), Five Brothers Pizza, Nacho Mamas (Mexican), Capt Briens (great for breakfast and dinner, raw bar), Da Vinci%26#39;s (Italian), Rookies Sports Bar (good for happy hour) and Cathy O%26#39;Clarkes (Irish). There is also a cinema there. Across the road there is another restaurant called Sassos. Another minute walk will bring you to Bimini%26#39;s (they have a band in the evening). If you go on zwire.com and restaurant round-up you will be able to see the reviews of all restaurants on the island. Hope you have a good vacation. Lee

be sure to get hold of a copy of the free marco review magazine.. has loads of information on restaurants and activities...can be seen online also...I cant wait to get hold of a copy....
