Hemingway's Cats - The Saga Continues

From this morning%26#39;s Key West News - Our tax dollars at work - Give me a break, leave the cats alone.

';The battle over the welfare of the Hemingway cats has reached a point where the U.S. Department of Agriculture plans to hire a cat behaviorist to assess the mental well-being of the much beloved six-toed felines at the museum. The brouhaha also has prompted two local government agencies to weigh in on the issue.';

While I was there we saw ';a few'; cats, but no more than walk around our streets here at home. I think the USDA should spend the $ and study their own behaviour and mental well being!

Hemingway's Cats - The Saga Continues

What a waste of taxpayer dollars. Those cats are better fed and taken care of than most people. Geez the nanny state is taking over.

Not only a waste of tax dollars but of time. This is soooo dumb.

Someone should tell these people ';there cats';.

PJ

Just like we should tell the military ';they%26#39;re toilet seats';!!

KWT, LOL

PJ

PS; Point to you for using the correct ';there'; wife get so mad at me.

my bad

Must step in to disagree... If we tell them they%26#39;re toilet seats, they%26#39;ll be bolted inside C-130 cargo planes over the standard aircraft toilet and flown all over the place. That is no way to treat a cat and besides... I hate those fuzzy toilet seats. They always fall down at the most inopertune times! In addition to that, can you imagine the sounds coming from the head? Purr.... Meow. HISS SNARL%26gt;%26gt;SCREAM%26gt;%26gt; HOLY SH*T!
