Restaurants, Hotels, Condos in Melbourne Area

Our son is getting married in Fla in Nov-the church is in Melbourne and reception in Indian Harbor. We are looking for a nice place for the rehearsal dinner since we are paying for it-nice but not extremely costly-in the Melbourne/Indian Harbor area-also we have looked at some hotels and condos namely the Guest House International and Sea Mark condos on Satellite Beach-since we don%26#39;t know the area and these are both reasonably priced and have kitchens, we would like to know if anyone is familiar with either of them. There are no reviews on this site for them but possibly someone local can say yeah or nay about the area and the facilities. The bride has a block of rooms reserved at the Crown Plaza and Imperial Hotels but they are expensive and we are retired and on a fixed income. Anyone have any ideas? thank you

Melo%26#39;s Italian Ristorante or Charlie %26amp; Jakes Brewery and Grill on Eau Gallie Boulevard near Indian Harbour Beach would be good choices, or the Chart House on Front Street in Melbourne.

Melo%26#39;s is a great suggestion from Island24, they have good food and deserts to die for. Try the Melting Pot in Viera (if you like fondue). You might also check with the Crown to see if it is in your budget.

I don%26#39;t think Guest House is on the ocean side, it%26#39;s across the street. %26amp; I think if it is the one I think, it%26#39;s in a noisy area (next to a pizza place)

If you are going to be here at least a week you could check www.vrbo.com to see if they have anything that would work for you.

Near the Imperial is a La Quinta Inn, also check the rates on the Jamison Inn, it is further south (Palm Bay-about 10 miles) but rates may be better.
