Beach 1st class!

Weather -great!

Traffic -avoided it by going out after 7pm.

Dining -Red Bar,,,outstanding. Thanks Semco/JoeMammy. Harbor Docks -very good. Dewey Destin -great lunch and view.

Water -clear, warm and enjoyable. June grass was minimal - had one day of seaweed.

Fresh seafood -Shrimpers! Thanks again Semco -wanted to ship some home due to price and freshness

Great Fireworks at the harbor area on Thursday night -AJ%26#39;s.

Emerald Grande -too big, out of place,,looks like it should be located in Orlando.

Negatives? Had to leave and return to reality.

Can you view the fireworks from down the beach? Say around Sandpiper Cove/ Shoreline Towers area?

beachmom - I would think so, but a local will have a better idea.

We%26#39;re heading down there from Virginia next week, our first visit to Destin.

Where did you stay?

Viewing fireworks I would walk down Gulf Shore Dr. towards the Islander and take it to the end at Norriego Point.
