Was down in Ft. Myers memorial day weekend and the love bugs were many in number. Spoke to my neighbors and they said that this was the worst season in years. Planning on going Labor day weekend and was wondering if they will be as big a problem? Thanks so much for replies

I don%26#39;t recall having them during Sept. or Fall. We had the worst year ever this past Spring.

Normally May and September are the months when the love bugs appear. This last May the bugs were around way into the first two weeks in June. In 23 years I%26#39;ve never seen this happen. Who knows what this September will bring.
I%26#39;m told they are not as bad in South and South West Florida.
