Best Western Plaza International

Hi folks!

Only a few weeks to go now! Our bags are almost packed- sad I know but we just can%26#39;t wait to go!!!

Our hotel is the Best Western Plaza International. Has anyone been there recently.. whats it like? What shops and restaurants are near? Also in our brochure it said that the hotel charge $2.50 per room per day even if you have a pre paid holiday...anyone else had this?

Stayed there in May.The hotel is in a great location.There are many restaurants with in walking distance (Ponderosa,Friendlys,Tony Romas,Dennys) and many can be reached by the I-Trolley (the stop is just outside the hotel). There is a supermarket near by and a 24 hours Wal-greens with in walking distance.

The $2.50 charge is to cover free local calls (Orlando) and for the safe. One tip is to make sure they give you a key for the safe as some rooms don%26#39;t have any.

Also you have to pay a $25 deposit for your room key cards but you get this back when you check out.

Another tip is if you use the shuttle bus to the parks get there 10 minutes before the bus arrives and stand at the far right hand side of the bus stop(while facing reception) as this where the bus door will open and so you are sure to get a seat.
