Blizzard beach or Typhoon lagoon???????????????

How old are the people going because my kids hated Blizzard Beach but loved Typhoon Lagoon Blizzard Beach is more for peolple that like alot of thrill rides and long hikes to get to them.

Blizzard beach or Typhoon lagoon???????????????

I%26#39;m in my forties with kids form 9-16. We all prefer TL.

typhoon lagoon is more relaxing than blizzard beach, it all depends on what you to do.

Typhoon Lagoon will not disappoint :)

Another thumbs up for Typhoon Lagoon. A much %26#39;softer%26#39; and more welcoming looking park with a very relaxed feeling to it. Looking forward to visiting again in September when 3yr old will hopefully love it this time round!

always typhoon lagoon, you are lucky you can go to TL when we go in late october it is closed

Typhoon Lagoon wins here too.

If you are all about slides, then you probably want Blizzard Beach.

Typhoon Lagoon for overall experience and they have the new water coaster.

Interesting that everyone is saying TL. I much prefer TL as it is more laid back and relaxing. BB is the thrill ride equivalent!

Windsorpalmsusa,

I have a theory on that. When I go to Water World in Denver, it is ';the'; event. I want a full waterpark experience. And it is only one day.

But when I%26#39;m doing the Disney parks, the waterparks are not the primary focus, generally. You use them as a break from the intensity of several days of walking all over theme parks. Your feet are already tired when you get there and you really need the water to bring your core body temperature down.

I don%26#39;t know that I would prefer Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach if they were stand-alone venues in some place like the middle of Iowa.
