Universal for adults - a few questions

I am planning to go with a friend to Universal 9.26-9.29th

1. Should we stay in a Universal hotel? they are more expensive. Is it worth the $$ in order to get the front of the line option?

2. other hotel recommendations in the area?

3. Fun things to do at night?

Thanks!

Universal for adults - a few questions

If you have the money staying on site will make your trip so much better. The front of line access is great and will help you see more of the parks.

If you can%26#39;t stay onsite I would recommend the Wyndham on I drive. Nice hotel and the pool is open 24 hours. Close to the parks and shops on I drive. Cab ride to Univerisal is only $9.00 or so.\

At night go to Citywalk and hit the bars and clubs or just walk around CityWalk with a beer in hand enjoy the people watching. Best place to people watch is Jimmy Buffets outside plane area. Grab a seat and watch the people come out of the parks.

At lot of this depends on when you are gong to the park? The time of the year will make a big difference on your trip.

It all depends on when you are going. They have discounts on their packages, (hotel and tickets) during certain times of year. If you are going during a busy time it is a great thing to have the ';fast pass'; and it comes with the on-site hotel stay.

You may want to look into the meal plan they offer and the drink plan. It seems like a no brainer if you are going to be in the park all day. Looks like you could save some serious money on food and drink with the arm band and cup program. I wasn%26#39;t aware of this when I went so, ended up paying full price and portions are large but prices are high.

Visit their official web site to see the program details and prices.

Have a great trip!

Sorry, you did say when you are going. If you are staying 3 nights you can save 15% and 4 nights will save you 20% if you book through the web site. You also get 1 free adult ticket to the park with 3 nights or 2 free tickets with 4 night stay.(not sure if you can combine offers) And that time of year is not that busy so they do not offer that ';fast pass'; as a thing you can purchase during the time you will be in the park. You may want to call one of the hotels and ask if they do still offer that on value periods. It may be more frugal to get an off-site hotel and buy the tickets on line and get the 7 days for the price of one deal. (I hope this isn%26#39;t too long.)

thanks! This is very helpful
