rides for kids and adults

Disney parks will be easy as very few of the rides are actually ';white knuckle';. universal have the bigger rides but both have good fanily rides as well. Just look at each of the websites as they all have details of what hieght restictions are in place

Epcot is great for kids and adults. Memo, Soaring, 3D movies, 360 degree Movies, malstrom, Test Track, Spaceship earth, Innoventions is great fun, Living the land, etc.

I am the ultimate baby when it comes to rides, I got sick for 30 minutes after rding Everest in Animal Kingdom and the picture of me on splash mountainalways shows me screaming with my hands over my eyes (LOL). My eight year old forces me to ride these and then laughs at me the whole time.

The disney site has all height restrictions on it for attractions. For kids at age five or six (Idon%26#39;t know how tall yours are but my five year old just hit 42';) you can check the restrictions on disney%26#39;s website, but some of my kids favorites that do have height restrictions are: Magic Kingdom- goofy%26#39;s barnstormer in toon town is 35';, splash mountain is 40';, Big Thunder Railroad is 40';, Indy speedway (52'; to ride alone but smaller can ride with an adult), and of course we love all the other rides. They really enjoy riding the big riverboat also. We love all the rides in adventureland, frontierland, and fantasy land (even small world).

MGM- star wars 40'; my daughter really likes this simulatoer, Rockin rollercoaster is 48'; so unless they are pretty tall for their age you won%26#39;t do this, just so you know both my kids hated tower of terror (40';), the themeing was too scary for them. They loved the stunt car show and they loved fantasmic.

Animal Kingdom- the safari was great, I thought Kali river rapids (38';) was a rip off, you gt completely soaked for a 5 minute ride, not worth it to me although my daughter thought it was great. Dinosaur (40';) scared my 4 year old half to death (me too) but my 8 year old loved it. They also lovedd the lion king show. Everest has a restriction of 44';. My eight year old loved it, i was sick, and my son was not tall enough.

Epcot- LOVED SOARIN (40';), my kids also loved figments journey into the imagination and the nemo ride. Test track is 40';, we do not do Mission space. The maelstrom in norway is fun (no restriction) and both of mine like Ellen%26#39;s energy adventure because of the dinosaurs. The LOVED Turtle talk with crush at the living seas.

Hope you have a great time.

nolatrekker thats great nfo thanks alo i appreciate it i will have a look on the disney website i will also measure my kids because to tell you the truth i dont know their exact heights how bad is that lol

if you go to IOA and don t mind getting wet there is the jurassic park and popeye don t know height restirctions sorry, but show they will have them on the universal website

tides- definitely measure your kids in shoes similar to the ones they will be wearing on the trip. There is nothing worse than a kid who thinks they are going to get to ride a particular ride and then finding out they are too short. this happened at AK to us at the primeaval whirl, ht restriction is 48 inches, my daughter was too short at age 6 and 7, talk about dissapointed! She finally got to ride it at age 8 last december, she loved it, I hated it, very jerky, lots of spinning.

Some of the operators are very strict, some will let you through, but do not take a chance. Discuss with them before you go which rides they are not tall enough for and it saves alot of grief.

The rides at Busch Gardens Tampa are pretty amazing. Have been to Chessington WOA and Thorpe Park - they were boring by comparison!

Busch Gardens Tampa was awesome and def suitable for 5-6 year olds

think we may travel down to busch gardens went there about 10 yrs ago and it was great then
