We%26#39;re going to be in Miami during the week of Sep 11-14. What%26#39;s going on for a couple in our mid 30%26#39;s. Being a former resident I remember that the summer months is off season. Other than Miami Spice (which we plan to attend a few times), where are the locals going to enjoy themselves? Which restaurant/lounges have the best nights on Wed, Thur and Friday? BTW, please no dance techno clubs. Been there, done that, hope to never be there again (ha-ha). Thanks in advance.

I prefer to frequent where the locals go rather than where the tourists go. Monty%26#39;s always has a good happy hour until 8pm ... food is decent and live music in the evenings. Smith %26amp; Wollensky is nice on the weekend nights between 4-7 ... sit out back and watch the cruise ships sail past. Doraku has a great happy hour on Friday ... 2-4-1 drinks and appetizers and a free sushi buffet.

Tenniselbow 22- Thanks for the info. We also like to visit the places where the locals hang out. The Friday evening sushi %26amp; drinks sounds like a winner.
Where restaurants will you choose from Miami Spice, I will also be in the area mid september.
