Silver Springs

has anybody been rcently? is it worth a visit,,, thanks...furbs

Silver Springs

Haven`t been for about 4 years but always found it a relaxing day after the other parks. I believe that they have added an animal watching trip further upstream to the glassbottom boat trips now.

Silver Springs

type in silver springs and have a look it does look a good relaxing day out (sorry if you%26#39;ve already done this)

Not been for ages but it was a really relaxing and enjoyable day away from the hussle of orlando

I went this past November (it was cold!). It was very nice. The park was deserted...I mean there were only about 20 people in the whole place (did I say it was cold?).

We rode on the all the boat rides and did the animal watching thing, too. They have monkeys there that the original owner brought in from Africa in the 1920s.. Very nice. I just wish it would have been warmer.

halekido...lol... did u mention it was cold.....thanks guys

Hi,

Agree with the other posts, a nice relaxing day away from the parks,

We haven%26#39;t been for a couple of years but we have relations in Ocala who go to special events there and they always enjoy.

It can get cold in November so do take a jersey to be on the safe side.

We were in Tampa one December years ago and actually had snow!

Have a great time.

Hi there...we were there in Nov also, and yes you needed a jacket, but it didn%26#39;t dampen the day. It%26#39;s a nice change of pace after the busy days in Orlando. Animals to look at...snake shows, gater shows, glass bottom boat rides. walk around and feed the birds, a couple of rides, etc. we bought our tickets through Orlando visitors center, and got discount prices for the adults, and1 free child with each adult ticket bought. Check out www.orlandoinfo.com . The reg adult price is 36.20 and with them it%26#39;s 28. each adult...with a bonus a i free child for each pd adult. I just checked and the special is still there. You have to pat for your tickets ahead of time though, and pick them up on International Drive in Orlando...the main tourist street. The prices include tax. This is an official Visitor center...not a fly by night thing...and NOT a timeshare deal...there%26#39;s no strings attached. Hope this info helps.
