going to orlando end oct for 2 weeks was wondering what type of clothes to pack

thanks

what to pack

We go every Oct. and this is what we take for 10 days (Note: we travel light and have use of a washing machine at our villa).

3 short sleeve shirts

3 shorts

1 set sweat suit

1 long sleeve shirt

1 long pants (not jeans)

1 bathing suit

3 pair socks

3 sets of underware

1 pair sneakers/flip flops or other spare footwear

(all fit into a carry-on size gym bag.)

In addiction we leave from a cold climate so we are wearing jeans, long sleeve shirt, light jacket, socks, underware, sneakers.

what to pack

October is a change month.

The end of Oct will be cooler than the beginning, but still warm/hot and you will be in shorts and tshirts. You will need longsleeves/jackets for when you are in the a/c places in the evenings when you might feel cold if you%26#39;ve gotten a bit of sun that day. I also bring a light longsleeved garment to cover up from the sun occasionally in the daytime. the PM thunderstorms will be tailing off by that time, and you may escape tropical storms (but then again.............)

You don%26#39;t say if you are male or female but if you are female, dresses (and cardigans/wraps for over-active aircon) will take you everywhere and make getting dressed quick and easy.

Comfortable shoes are a must.

I wouldn%26#39;t take much as you can go shopping for a whole new wardrobe for less than half the price you would buy it for here.

Try the Premium Outlets at the bottom of International Drive and google their website for additional savings.

Have a great trip.

We just got back on Friday after our first trip to Florida and we didn%26#39;t wear half of what we took!

I ended up buying shorts etc. in Walmart and spent many a good few hours at the Premium Outlets! Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren shops are fab! My hubby picked up a pair of Tommy H jeans for $14.00!

We left behind clothes we took to make way for our brand new wardobes!

Twent has got absolutely the right idea!!!

Was once in Orlando early Nov and was really surprised how hot it still was (by British standards!) Definitely still shorts and T%26#39;s weather during the day so if you need to add to your holiday wardrobe, buy now before M%26amp;S get their winter woolies in!! or as suggested, there%26#39;ll be loads to buy when you%26#39;re there. I%26#39;d pack as if you were going on a UK holiday during a good summer, except with a few more pairs of shorts!

You need to follow troopers recipe. Which is Not Much.

Get some new there if you need to , Have more space an luggage allowance to come home.

Dont take towels, electrical items like irons, straighteners. shampoos , shower gel . Heavy items like Jens and shoes. Buy a pair of beach shoes or crocks. put them in the bin just before you come home.

My favorite is a pair of canvas shoes from Shoe Zone 拢4;95 wear them every day, Wet , dry, in parks , on the beach in the sea with a pair of jelly soles in them. Bring the jelly soles home dump the shoes on day 14 . Stick them in the washer dryer sometimes inbetween

Ferg12; Pack more pairs of shorts !!! What 2 pair instead of one.

OOOOhh You%26#39;re going at the perfect time to take advantage of the sales before you go!!!

I always take 14 tops and about 16 pairs of knickers for a 2 week holiday - purley because I can%26#39;t be bothered with washing out there!!! I take small tops though so they take hardly any case room AND about 5 or six bottoms - usually a few boardies, shorts and a pair of light jeans (these can be worn more than once before washing)... a couple of dresses and I always wear the heaviest bits out there - IE Jeans, Vans and a big wrap over cardi!

I know it seems a lot but I always have plenty of space left over to bring stuff back and beleive me I SHOP!!!! I%26#39;ve never gone over luggage alowance either!! Weee xx

What was your return tickets booked on???

QE2 ???
