I bought trip insurance for an upcomming disney vacation . It cost $179.00 , was this wise or was it a waste of money ? Does anyone know exactly what it covers , most info iv%26#39;e found is rather vague .

The insurance through Disney is often less than the trip insurance through your airline. It does cover your airline tickets, even if you did not buy them through the Disney Travel Company. It reimburses yoru trip expenses if it has to be cancelled due to illness or a death in the family. It covers trip cancellation expenses and provides emergency medical evacuation type coverage if you have a medical emergency while on vacation. Also covers cancellation type expenses if you have to leave your vacation because of the death or illness of a loved one.

I just sent the coverage summery my TA sent me. We were specifically asking about coverage as it pertains to the loss of a loved one because we were concerned about my grandmother%26#39;s failing health so it might not be as general as what you are asking but it is something anyway.
