I am flying in august with them again, had a look at the manchester airport site and it says the flight xla 131 from sanford was cancelled and arriving the next day but no further information.

Don%26#39;t worry at all. There are peculiar folk on here who delight in reporting TCD delayed flights for some reason best known to themselves.

Do you imagine TCD are the ONLY carrier to have a delayed or cancelled flight? Of course not. Did you honestly think TCD never have a delayed flight? They do, like all other airlines. 747 300s are perfectly serviceable aircraft

Now if it were Ryanair, they cancel flights frequently and blame the weather conditions so they don%26#39;t have to pay compensation, there might be some point. At least TCD will actually get you there.

If the earlier one was cancelled it probably means there weren%26#39;t enough passengers on it. To merge the two flights together is a common ploy by airlines to make their flights more economical.

i used TCD last year with no probs at all, using them again this year, what happened to there back up plane??
