Hi Wendy27a

Sunsets quicker in Florida than the UK, they don%26#39;t get a twilight like we do. Think you might need to go to the coast to get a good sunset, been to Florida 6 X 14 nights never noticed a sunset yet.

Have fun

Wendy27a,

The roof of the Contemporary used to be my favorite. I don%26#39;t know if they let you out there anymore.

You might see if you can rent a boat from Wilderness Lodge and shoot from on the water across Bay Lake. The monorail beam makes an interesting frame for a sunset shot if you are in the right place at the right time.

There is a slight western overlook near the baseball stadium in Wide World of Sports. I have not seen a sunset from there, but unless the hotel construction has ruined it the view might work for you.

One location you may not have considered is the top floor of the parking decks at the airport. The decks offer clear unobstructed views and I have seen several glorious sunsets from there. The top floors of the parking decks are also excellent places to watch shuttle launches from. You can%26#39;t hear the shuttle, but you certainly can see it.

thanks very much to you both

You can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the 4th floor overlook at the Contemporary resort (same level as Chef Mickey%26#39;s, I think). I think you can see in a general westerly direction from there as well, so you may be able to see a sunset from there as well
