Best outdoor dining spot?

Hello again! I%26#39;m looking for opinions on the restaurant and or bar that has the best location for viewing the ocean/sunset. I%26#39;m not overly concerned with whether it%26#39;s the best food as I can always munch on an appetizer or have a drink. Just curious as to what the TA experts think and where you will lead me!

Best outdoor dining spot?

We ate at two places last week, but were unable to catch the sunset at either one:( Pineapple Willy%26#39;s - we only had to wait about 20 min for a table, so the sunset was still almost an hour wait when we had finished eating. Our last dinner was at Sharky%26#39;s and we timed it perfectly, but the clouds ruined it for us.

Hope you have better luck! We didn%26#39;t catch a single sunset in 6 nights for various reasons and that had been on the top of my list. Maybe next time!

Best outdoor dining spot?

I remember one year watching the sunset on the dock at Pineapple Willie%26#39;s and it was just beautiful. I think Schooners is also right on the beach so that may be a great place for watching the sunset also.

Schooners is nice at sunset and they also shoot off the small cannon at sunset. We like to watch on the web cam at home and wish that we were there.

Maybe this is not exactly what you asked for but I had to throw it in. The Boatyard has outdoor seating and a great view of the bay. Also at Bay Point Marriott there is a boardwalk out over a cove in the bay that has a small bar. Last time I was there they had burgers,chix fingers,etc. The view there is fantastic because at sunset all boats entering the bay go right by it I get into the marriott property with a friend who owns there so I do not know if you can go without a contact-never tried it. If you can it is worth it! Hope this helps.

Hi, Thought I would throw in my two cents on this one. When we come to PC Beach we love to bring extra money so we can have dinner out pretty much every night. We LOVE to eat outdoors and watch the sunset and feel the ocean air. Here are some of the ones we have enjoyed in the past.

Pineapple Willy%26#39;s - ask to set as far out on the dock as possible, If you finish your meal early just make sure to keep ordering yummy frozen drinks or dessert so you can stay for the sunset.. just make sure you tip the waiter a little extra since you are taking up the table for longer.

Harpoon Harry%26#39;s - eat outside on the deck for great views. Very laid back and everything from burgers to full meals. Again... great frozen drinks.

Sharky%26#39;s - only a few of the outer edge tables have a great view of the water and sunset so make sure you ask for one of those.

Schooners- make sure to ask for a table close to the water for the best views. This place is nice because just before sunset they invite everyone to come out to the beach for a cannon blast to signify the set of the sun. This place also had jimmy buffet style music when we were there.

I know that spending the extra money on dinners that are sometimes just average quality just for the great views and beach feel isn%26#39;t for everyone... but It IS a huge part of our vacation!

And the frozen drinks don%26#39;t hurt any either! ;%26gt;)
