WOW...I had the most magical time...i know it sounds corny but i hafta tell you..Disney World is amazing. Ive been there before twice when i was younger and this trip just brought back all those happy memories. Here goes..
Arrived at Orlando airport at about 12:15..flight was delayed about an hour coming in because of runway traffic. Followed some travelers to thr Disney Magical Express where they took our luggage aboard. The ride took about 20-25 minutes but they played a little disney video to pump the adrenaline!!!
We pulled up to Pop Century around 12:45 and checked in.. Our room wasnt ready yet so we let the hotel luggage people hold our carry ons while we took the bus to EPCOT.
EPCOT- Alot to see and do here, especially if you go ';around the world';. Let me tell you, it was amazing to see that every person who works at either ';country'; is actually of that decent. Amazing...did most of the rides there...stayed about 6 hours, went back to the hotel to change and clean up and went back to the park at night as we did all nights also.
MAGIC KInDGDOM- Truely a magical place..I mean walking up mian street, seeing the castle, hearing the music, its just a dream. We got to the parks as soon as they opened. Thats the secret. We walked onto about 5 rides before there was even a slight wait. Peter Pan, Its a small world, Snow whites scary adventures, winnie the pooh, dumbo. We did tons more after that covering most, if not all of magic kingdom. The parades and the fireworks are something you have to see for yourself. Absolutly dreamlike. We also got shots of most of the character...some lines are veyr long like the princesses. Because Magic Kingdom has so much to see and do we went back for another night to go on rides a second time.
Animal Kingdom- You have to do the safari ride. Its like nothing you have seen before. Animals right infront of you. A little more education based as a park but none the less, you wont get to do this sort of stuff anywhere else. UNless you lives in the middle of the Savana HA!
MGM- Probably the park that has the least rides. Main attractions are Tower of Terror and ROck n Roller COaster. Mostly sit down shows and 3-d adventures. A great park for movie lovers. I thought it was really cool how the place was set up, movie back drops, the buildings. I loved it as well
As part of our trip we also did UNiversal and IOA- Universal was really nice. We did all the big stuff and then caught a show of Beauty and the Beast..How AWESOME! After a day here though I had to go back to disney to get my share of mickey and minnie !!
IOA was eh for me. ToO many coasters which made the lines WAYYY long. And since i didnt have the fast pass i didnt feel like waiting an hour in line. So we by passed alot of the stuff there.
FOOD wise, the dining plan is the way to go. It was just very convenient and easy. The meals are big..u get alot and u are left full! Plus lots of varietes.
My hotel was great..it had everything one needs to enjoy themselves.
It is very hot in august. However there are alot of escapes like the indoor shows and stuff so it wasnt too bad. PLus we walked and sweat off all the calories we ate during meals!!!
Truely a magical place...My whole vacation i felt like i was in a big drream bubble..cant wait for next yr
