I know that there are ride height restrictions at the parks, but... Are there rides (mainly at Magic Kingdom) that we can take our grandkids on? They will be 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 next month when we travel.
Rides with little onesYou can take them on anything at Fantasyland-Merry Go Round,Peter Pan,Winnie the Pooh. If you take them on it%26#39;s A Small World, they will sing the song all day and drive you crazy but most kids enjoy it.Dumbo of course but get there early or late to avoid horrible lines. Mickey%26#39;s toontown has some rides for little ones and lots of characters. The Jungle Cruise-they love boats at that age. Except for the ';thrill'; rides, they can ride anything-it%26#39;s just some rides(like Pirates) are in the dark and have loud noises and kids tend not to like that. If you can, read Bob Sehlingers ';Unofficial Guide to Walt disney World'; which gives a good description of how dark, noisy or scary the rides are. And don%26#39;t miss the Animal Kingdom, they have great outdoor shows and kids rides and of course, lots of animals. Have fun!
Rides with little onesIn Magic Kingdom
small world, peter pan, winnie the pooh, the carousel, and dumbo in fantasyland. Mine were afraid of snow white and Mickey%26#39;s Philharmagic at this age but every child is different.
Toontown has mickey and minnie%26#39;s house that they can explore.as well as donalds boat and a themed playground.
Indy speedway, tomorrowland transit authority, buzz lightyear ranger spin, in tomorrowland.
Aladdins carpets, jungle cruise, tikki room, and pirates of the carribean in adventure land. Haunted mansion (depends on how scared of the dark they are), the liberty riverboat, and country bear jamboree. Mine also loved to ride the walt disney world railroad at that age.
Epcot had finding nemo and figments journey to tomorrow.
MGM has the playhouse disney show which is fantastic for kids that age. There is also the little mermaid show and beauty and the beast. Mine did not like the muppets show at that age, they were afraid of all 3d shows actually.
Animal Kingdom they can go on the safari, see the pochahantas show, the lion king show, and the nemo show. There is a triceratops ride similar to dumbo in dino land. there is also a train that takes you to Rafikis conservation station where there is a small petting zoo. Mine also love the boneyard playground in Dino land.
Sounds good. Thanks!
