Help! Need to cancel my Priceline booking!!

Hi,

A couple of days ago i won the Radisson Resort Worldgate through priceline for a great offer for only $45 p/n. I was really happy with the offer because the cheapest i could find the same hotel was for $30 more p/n!!

Unfortunatly, i won%26#39;t be able to make use of this offer. The person i am traveling with, due to personal reasons i can%26#39;t go into on here has pulled out of the vacation. I am contemplating going alone but because i can not drive i would prefer to be in a more central hotel with better transport options.

I would just leave the booking but i%26#39;m a student so every penny counts.

Please advise me on what to do!!

I pretty much thought that Priceline bookings were a firm contract - i.e. you accept the offer (or win the bid), then you pay for it and are tied into it... no refunds or anything.

Do you have travel insurance?

Priceline doesn%26#39;t allow cancellations-once you buy the hotel room,you%26#39;re stuck with it. You could try calling their customer service number and pleading your case but they are pretty clear about their policies.

If your friends %26#39;personal reasons%26#39; are genuine reasons, ie sickness, death in the family, those types of things, I%26#39;m pretty sure your travel insurance will cover the cancellation.

enjoy going alone, or bring another friend. If you don%26#39;t use your room, you will still have paid for it- no changes, no cancellations.
