Which Atlantic Beach?

We are going to be in St. Augustine for a few days, then move south, to Cape Canaveral. We%26#39;ll be going to Universal IOA the day before we take off for home. We want to spend a good part of a day on a beach that has waves, but is fairly safe for our 12 year old. He%26#39;s not afraid of the water, and loves to boogie board. (of course, like any good mom, I worry about the riptides...) Anyway, I was wondering about Cresent beach (off St. Augustine).....if this will fill the bill, that is. We thought about Daytona, but we don%26#39;t want to go to a super busy and crowded place. Thought about Playalinda Beach on Cape Canaveral, but understand that the northern part is a nude beach. What would you recommend? Any nice beaches you%26#39;d suggest between St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral? My in-laws will be with us, and they wouldn%26#39;t be able to walk on a steep path or a mile down to a beach, either. Thanks for any help you can give!

Which Atlantic Beach?

The part of Playa Linda that is clothing optional is at the very northern end of the road. If you stay at the southern end where you enter, or even midway up it you%26#39;ll be okay and would probably have the beach all to yourselves. It is a very long beach and even from midway, you cannot see the people at the northern end. There are designated parking areas with restrooms and with a wooden walkway form the parking lot to the beach - no more than fifty feet or so, no steep paths. There are no refreshments of any kind available, so be sure to take your own.

Puyallup you are gonna love st augustine before you come to the beaches area enjoy the town during the day and later in the afternoon you can come to the beach or viseversa. I love the beach and downtown historic area as well. I only live less than 10 minutes from town on st augustine beach .Crescent beach area is good too there are lifeguards on the beaches area but still you need to be very careful and watch very closely for your son when he goes in the water . St.Augustine has beutiful beaches Vilano Beach has white sand but St.Augustine Beach and Crescent Beach has kinda gray but nice soft sand as well. Also check it out St.Augustine Forum after reading this one. There are many useful information about St.Augustine and its beaches area
