Smoking in Orlando

Mostly no. Restaurants are non-smoking and many hotels are either non-smoking or you have to smoke in designated areas, like the theme parks require.Usually you have to g outside in hotels and restaurants and smoke in that area.

Simon, I was in Disney last week with 3 smokers. They had no problems smoking inside or outside the parks. In the restaurants, they sat in the bar area, in the hotel, there was a designated area for smokers.

Smoking is not allowed in restaurants in Florida, except on an open air patio. Only in certain types of bar related establishments where a certain percentage of sales is alcohol related can there be smoking. If it is in a restaurant that has a bar, if the bar is indoors, they can%26#39;t smoke there. If Disney allowed someone to smoke at an inside bar which is part of a restaurant, unless they had some special exception from the State of Florida, then they were violating the law.

I guess they were because the 3 of them were propped on bar stools smoking away and nobody said anything.

You cannot smoke in restaurants or hotel public areas. There is a state law that does not allow smoking in indoor restaurants. Also be sure to request a smoking room if its available so she can smoke in your room. Most hotels that do not offer smoking rooms have a designated smoking area. As far as other facilities, nearly all indoor public facilities including shopping malls, convention centers, and airports do not allow smoking anywhere indoors. Most of these facilities also offer designated smoking areas outside.

As far as the parks, the only place you can smoke inside the parks is at the designated smoking areas located throughout the park. These areas are usually marked on the park map with a smoking symbol. When your finished with your cigarette be sure to dispose it in an ash tray for the courtesy of others and the park cleaning staff.

Have Fun!

Smoking is prohibited indoors in places that sell food in FL. It%26#39;s up to the restaurant if they allow you to smoke on their patio (outdoor seating area). You%26#39;ll usually see people hanging around outside the front door puffing away in FL. If they are smoker friendly, there will be benches and ashtrays out there.
