We are returning from a Disney Cruise in December and need a nice but inexpensive place to stay in Orlando overnight before our flight home. Looking for something close to shopping (large mall or factory outlets) and a free airport shuttle.

You could try the Florida Hotel %26amp; Conference Center, which is attached to the Florida Mall, which has 253 stores and is I think the closest large shopping complex to Orlando International Airport-MCO (if this is not the airport you%26#39;re flying out of let us know). If coming back from Port Canaveral, you have to go past the airport to get here, but its the closest. There are other hotels right by the mall (a Hampton Inn-Florida Mall), but this looks to be the nicest, perhaps. Not sure about the free shuttle though; the average rates according to TA are about $166, though maybe you can find something cheaper. If that%26#39;s too much, check out the Hampton Inn-Florida Mall. The area around the mall is OK, but I wouldn%26#39;t wander far too far from the mall, particularly to the north.

There are several timeshare properties which can rent out hotel rooms by Orlando Premium Outlets, like The Fountains, Sheraton Vistana Villages, Floridays Resort, and Hilton Grand Vacations Club on International Drive, but I%26#39;m not sure about the airport shuttle, plus this is significantly farther from the airport. There%26#39;s a Laquinta, I believe, near the Lake Buena Vista factory outlets, but this is even farther from the airport.
