Anyone yet flown Monarch from Manchester to Orlando?

Flying in Sept and I know that this is a new route for Monarch from MAN.

I searched here and found some peeps asking the same question but yet no real answer.

Anyone?

We flew with Monarch on Thursday 26 Apr from Manchester to Sanford. The flights were on time both ways and the aircraft was a 330 which has had some seats taken out. They have a separate premium cabin where you get extra leg and width room, seat back TV, free drinks, 2 hot meals, newspapers and an amenity kit. There are quite a lot of extra leg room seats to upgrade to in the main cabin, not all by exits. We got a snack breakfast then a hot meal later in the flight. There was a film and the headsets were 拢1.50 to hire. Hope this answers some of your questions.

We are also flying Monarch 6 Sept.

Thanks for the info.

Monarch is a Manchester based company and I am surprised to here that Manchester -Florida is a ';new route '; for them. If that is true????

You need to be aware or remember that Monarch are the oldest British Airline in existence. It has always had a modern fleet of aircraft right from its conception. It has to date never gone bust or being bought out by bigger fish.

And unlike British Airways has never been subsidised by the British tax payer or been given brand any new aircraft paid for by the British tax payer. Un-like British Airways

So it must be doing something right,. cos lots of its competitors are none existent.

a friend of mine flow with monarch from manchester 8 years ago so i don%26#39;t think its a new route or if it started up again.

Thanks. I like the sound of better chances to pay for better leg room. Never goes to well for me on long hauls.
