Dinner Suggestion for Outside the Park: Lobster

Hi, my family of 13 will be in Orlando the week of June 24th and one night we would like to take our Dad out to dinner for his Father%26#39;s Day present. He likes lobster (the whole lobster kind).

Any suggestions for a lobster place outside the park that also has kid%26#39;s meals (we will have 5 kids age 7-15).

Thanks!

While I%26#39;m a bigger fan of the Titusville location, there%26#39;s a seafood place in Festival Bay called Dixie Crossroads that has decent seafood.

Their specialty is rock shrimp, but they also have other seafood that%26#39;s good as well, including lobster.

Festival Bay is just off the north end of I-Drive.

Thanks. It says lobster on the menu but ';when available.'; So I guess you have to call to see if they have it that day.

Dixie Crossroads is the place!

I just wanted to come back and thank you all for the Dixie Crossroads suggestion. It was exactly what we needed and actually exceeded my expectations.

We were a party of 14 with 5 kids and they were able to accommodate us on a Wednesday evening at 5:30. We originally have a large round corner table, but we didn%26#39;t fit comfortably, so they moved us to the big room and pushed tables together.

Service was excellent, fast, no mistakes with lots of special requests and ';issues,'; the hostess was very helpful with directions, multiple phone calls from multiple cars after getting lost, we were all late (extremely late in some cases) for our reservation.

The food was great (just about all the adults got the $33 special with the lobster, crab legs, etc.).

This was one of the few meals nobody complained about before, during or after.
