If a shuttle launch is scheduled for 7pm, can you spend the day at the visitor complex before viewing the launch?

There was nothing I could find on the KSC web site to directly answer your question. I do know they stop tours to the Saturn V Center and the launch pad observation towers once they start fueling operations.
