Watercolor in late July/August

We are thinking of going to Watercolor in the last week of July and the first few days of August. Friends have told us that this is not a good time to go because of an abundance of jellyfish always occurs in the area at that time of year. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

I was hoping that someone with more specific knowledge would reply to your post. All I can tell you is that we%26#39;ve visited the area in late summer/early fall for 10+ years now and I can only recall one time where there was an over abundance of jelly fish. It was about 10 years ago and we were staying in Grayton and it seemed like the jelly fish were spawning (or whatever they do). There were thousands of them. This trip was in August or September.
