Trips to Key West

I%26#39;m still looking for a day trip to Key West... I%26#39;m waiting for the schedule and rates from marcoi@seakeywestexpress.com for July however they only pick up from Fort Myers and ideally I wanted something from Marco..

As arrival back will be late I really dont want to have to drive down from F.M late at night...after what should be a very relaxing day!

Does anyone have any other thoughts on this...know of any other companies please

Randy maybe you could also tell me what the drink drive laws are in collier county please... we certainly dont drink and drive to excess but maybe would have a pint of beer at Stans on a sunday afternoon and wondered what the situation was over there...

If you know about Dade also appreciate that.. (I think thats Orlando or have I got it wrong!!!)

Thank you Randy - I%26#39;ll have to get hubby on the scales!!! We%26#39;re flying over from LV on saturday 14th and in fact have 2 sundays to visit Stans. %26amp; the island woman store!!! . but taxi is a very good idea. thank you for the number..The last time we were there our bell boy got us a cab.. it was a lincoln town car - very grand but expensive!!! that took us over to Goodlands but for an evening meal at...... cant remember the name of the restaurant .. but it was very good.....we%26#39;ve been there a few time now.. It has photographs of the building way way back and when an huricane hit - I want ot say in the 30%26#39;s but cant be sure..

Have received a reply re the plane to KW $205 p/p (didnt say whether thats for 3 or 6 people so I%26#39;m checking) 35 minutes.... by boat $144 takes 3.5 hours!!!

I know which I want to do ... gotta wait till he comes home before I take it any further...

How long does it take to drive down there, by the way? I also am considering a trip to the Keys from Marco this summer, but can%26#39;t really afford to fly or boat down.

Key West is the southern most key and the longest drive.
