Hi,

I%26#39;m going to AKL for my honeymoon in April and it is my second time but my husband to be%26#39;s first time. That will make it an experience in its self but I want to do something special which is a little romantic and to celebrate for the two of us. Also what kind of upgrades etc can you get by telling staff your on your honeymoon?

Victoria and Albert%26#39;s is a very nice romantic meal and perfect for honeymoooners. I don%26#39;t know of any upgrades you can get for being on your honeymoon-Disney is the #1 honeymoon destination. But tell everyone anyway,it couldn%26#39;t hurt.

There are a number of good ';romantic'; eateries in DisneyWorld. Top of the list would be Victoria %26amp; Albert%26#39;s in the Grand Floridian. An incredible experience but expect to pay big bucks. Some other really good choices: The California Grill on top the Contemporary Resort -- this is particularly great if you book dinner a little later so you can watch the fireworks too. Shula%26#39;s Steak house at the Dolphin resort, Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Spoodles and the Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk are also great for quiet getaways.

Just remember that kids abound at DisneyWorld and even if you try to book off-dinner peak eating hours, you%26#39;re likely to run into a some families.

As for upgrades, nothing at Disney comes for free, honeymoon or not. There is very little they offer as complementary upgrades.

Have you got enough time to take in a cruise? We attended a recent wedding in April/May. The bride and groom were with us for the 1st week and then went on a 5 night cruise around the Carribean. Is this the kind of thing you mean by etc? It can work out quite cheap if you shop around using the American sites.

If Iam missing the mark here I apologise. If its room upgrades your after coming from somebody previously in the industry - pay for it if you want it, its your honeymoon after all. If not you can fax the hotel about 1 month before you go but dont expect to get anything. Sometimes you will get flowers or bottle of wine if you are lucky.Saying you have stayed at the hotel before also helps.
