Which Beach?

We are going to be in St. Augustine for a few days, then move south, to Cape Canaveral. We%26#39;ll be going to Universal IOA the day before we take off for home. We want to spend a good part of a day on a beach that has waves, but is fairly safe for our 12 year old. He%26#39;s not afraid of the water, and loves to boogie board. (of course, like any good mom, I worry about the riptides...) Anyway, I was wondering about Cresent beach (off St. Augustine).....if this will fill the bill, that is. We thought about Daytona, but we don%26#39;t want to go to a super busy and crowded place. Thought about Playalinda Beach on Cape Canaveral, but understand that the northern part is a nude beach. What would you recommend? Any nice beaches you%26#39;d suggest between St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral? My in-laws will be with us, and they wouldn%26#39;t be able to walk on a steep path or a mile down to a beach, either. Thanks for any help you can give!

Which Beach?

canaveral nat%26#39;l seashore on the new smyrna side is nice

Which Beach?

I am a big fan of jetty Park in Cape Canaveral. It is right where the ocean meets the South side of the port inlet. In addition to a great beach you can watch the ships come in and walk out on the jetty and see some nice fish caught.

I would second the vote for Jetty Park. You won%26#39;t have to worry about those riptides either because there are lifeguards that keep everyone safe.
