experts needed!!

hi hi,

please help me out with the following questions:

[1] are there a maximum amt of ppl allowed in a cab?? there is 5 of us total and were planning to catch a cab from the airport to catalina hotel.

[2] are flats and flipflops (not hte plastic ones but hte leather dressier ones) frown upon at the trendier nightclubs? delano hotel? how about restaurants?

[3] is GRILLFISH restaurant trendy at all? im trying to figure out what i should wear there for dinner. If having dinner on 7/4 or 7/5 (wed/thurs)..would it be necessary to make advance reservation?

[4] jetski - will be staying at catalina hotel, are there any jetski rental nearby on the beach? the going rates?

[5] anyone that stayed at the catalina hotel -- please share your experience and the hotel%26#39;s towels and beachchair policy.

thanks all in advance!

1) You can walk out of baggage claim and ask the uniformed taxi dispatcher to radio for a station wagon or SUV cab. It might take a few minutes to find one, but then you can all ride together for the SAME flat fee as a smaller car. Be friendly but firm - they will get you one. If there is a lot of luggage, be sure to tip the driver a bit more.

2) As long as you do not look a mess, you can wear what you want. It is sometimes better to wear closed shoes in crowded clubs so you don%26#39;t get your toes stomppppped.

3) Grillfish is not trendy at all. I can%26#39;t imagine you need a reservation, but if timing is important you can call and ask how busy they are and reserve.

4) Here is a list plus a few guided tours on jet skis:
