Hilton Hotel or San Destin's Luau?

I%26#39;m looking at taking a weekend trip with my girlfriend to Destin, and would like to know if anyone could provide recommendations on either the Hilton Hotel or San Destin%26#39;s Luau. If you have any other beachfront hotel recommendations, I%26#39;d gladly take those as well.

I would not choose the Hilton. Read the reviews. You could look at the Henderson Park Inn, great romantic little place, however, there is no pool, but it is directly on the beach.

just got back %26amp; i went to luau to check it out b-c we are staying there july 13. it is VERY nice. the pool is really big w/ waterfall. i wouldnt hesitate to stay at luau %26amp; you will love sandestin. especially the shopping village %26amp; baytown.

Just got back from sandestin, stayed at the Luau Tower 1. Brand new and beautiful views. The pool is gorgeous. Clean and big and the waterfall is a plus. Less then a five minute walk to the beach.
